Spotted an article on LinkedIn today.
It drew these conclusions to how MBA education may need to change to equip students to be more valuable than a #chatGBT bot ..
- the need for changes to exam content, policies and procedures (yeah),
- curriculum redesign focusing on collaboration between human and AI (yes please),
- opportunities to rethink real world decision making processes (see below),
- the need to teach creative problem solving (always a good idea),
- improve teaching productivity (flip the classroom please),
- and probably many more.
Got me thinking couldn’t the same conclusions be made to the workplace
- the need for changes to routine processes,policies and procedures (yeah),
- Activity and work being redesigned to focus on collaboration between human and AI (yes please),
- opportunities to rethink business decision making processes (whos in the process and why)
- the need to inspire and involve people in creative problem solving (always a good idea),
- and probably many more.
Come on let’s all remember that simplifying, eliminating and automating (new IBM buzz words) is one side of the equation … inspiring, evolving and creating a future could be the other side.
