A service designer, an enterprise architect, a project manager, and a business sponsor walk into a bar. The bartender looks up and says, “Is this a joke?”
The service designer says, “No, it’s an experience!”
The enterprise architect says, “No, it’s a framework!”
The project manager says, “No, we are tracking if on time and under budget!”
The business sponsor says, “we all know it’s unlikely to be on time and on budget, that we will have more boxes and lines on a sheet of paper than we can possibly understand and our experience models will be a work of art … i don’t care what it is I’m paying for it, so better be delivering value!”
The bartender smiles and asks “what will it be”
They all look at each other – smile – realise the finance director is unlikely to approve the spend – sigh, shrug apologise for wasting the bartenders time- and walk out (separately).
